Non-cardiogenic patient with high-altitude pulmonary edema.
Initial ultrasonic examination found numerous places of B-lines on both sides, even merging together, in all quadrants, as well as „lung sliding“being present. The presence of these findings is indicative of pulmonary edema. After 5 days of treatment the check-up ultrasound showed a virtually complete disappearance of the merging and numerous B-lines. A similar finding can be seen in the ultrasound for the etiology of cardiac pulmonary edema, or ARDS.
